Sandile kaNqose was a South African sports journalist, sports analyst, sports anchor, producer, and businessman. He rose to prominence during his time at etv and later eNCA. He also worked at Johannesburg's youth radio station, YFM and presented sports on etv news' lunchtime bulletin. Sandile kaNqose was a co-founder and producer at Afrikan Horizons.


Sandile kaNqose died on Monday 01 February 2021.

As the news of his death broke; sports, arts and culture minister - Nathi Mthethwa wrote, "The flame of Sandile’s candle burnt out too soon. He was a young man, who colleagues describe as a consummate gentleman, always helpful, jovial and humorous. He will be remembered as a good soul, who was radiant and full of life, and who delivered sports bulletins with the utmost professionalism."

At the time of his death Sandile kaNqose was 42 years old.

Sandile kaNqose's funeral service took place in Thokoza, Ekurhuleni, Gauteng.
