DJ Cleo Controversy
Boity criticised DJ Cleo for posting pictures of himself with convicted rapist Brickz. The pictures were taken during an event organised by a non-profit organisation and taking place at a prison where Brickz is serving his 15 year sentence. Public opinion was largely divided on the matter with both Boity and DJ Cleo finding themselves on both ends of criticism and support.
DJ Cleo later leveled criticism against Boity and accused her of putting a negative spin on a positive effort. DJ Cleo further clarified that he did not condone rape but supported Brickz in his quest for rehabilitation.
