Thulisile Phongolo, also known as Thuli Phongolo or Thuli P, is a South African actress, DJ, voice-over artist, and television personality, born on January 22, 1994 [1][3][7]. She grew up in Johannesburg’s Soweto township, where she had dreams of becoming a star from an early age [2]. Thuli attended Allen Glen High School for her secondary education and later went to the University of Johannesburg to study Strategic Marketing Communications [8].

Phongolo first gained recognition for playing the role of presenter Zama on the third season of the SABC1 youth drama series Tshisa in 2012 [3][5]. She then went on to achieve greater fame for her portrayal of Namhla Diale on SABC 1’s popular soap opera Generations: The Legacy, a role she played until 2018 [4][5].

In addition to her acting career, Thuli Phongolo is also an amateur disc jockey. She began DJing in September 2017 and continued practicing the craft through at least November 2019 [1][6].
