Zandile Msutwana (born 6 July 1979) is a South African actress best known for her leading role as Akua Yenana on the SABC 1 drama series Society, and Vuyiswa the detective on The Queen she stars alongside Themba Ndaba, Shona Ferguson, Rami Chuene, Thembsie Matu and MacDonald.

In 2008 she was cast in guest starring role as Dudu on SABC 1's drama series she acted alongside Pepi Khambule, Phuti Khomo, Zinhle Mabena, Magi Williams, Bongani Madondo and Thobi Mkhwanazi. She had roles on productions such as Home Affairs, A Small Town Called Descent, Isidingo, Igazi, Isikizi, Rhythm City, Soul City and Zabalaza as Lindiwe Cele alongside Baby Cele, Seputla Sebogodi, Manaka Ranaka, Talitha Ndima, Khulu Skenjana, Angela Sithole, Tango Ncetezo and Zolisa Xaluva.

She was cast as Ayanda in a 2009 feature film White Wedding she starred alongside Kenneth Nkosi, Rapulana Seiphemo, Jodie Whittaker and Mbulelo Grootboom.

Early Life

Zandile Msutwana was born on 6 July 1979 in King William's Town in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. Msutwana completed a Performers Diploma in Speech and Drama at the University of Cape Town. Whilst at university her roles in productions included Regan in King Lear, Matilda in The Suit, Aida in On The Brink and Chorus in Trojan Women. After graduating Zandile performed in a production entitled Ingalo at The Langa Hall and took the part of Cordelia in a schools' tour of King Lear.
