Sophie Ndaba ( (née Mphasane, born 1972) is a South African actress best known for her enduring portraying of Queen Moroka on Generations. She rose to further fame for the same role after she dramatically fired from that show along with 15 other actors in a sweeping move by MMSV Productions to curtail a prolonged strike action - essentially bringing her 20-year portrayal of Queen Moroka to an abrupt end. The move by Mfundi Vundla's MMSV Productions was particularly bold as Generations was the number one show in South Africa by viewership.
