Personal Life

In February 2018 Samkelo Ndlovu gave birth to a baby. "She's only three days old and already showing so much personality. Go figure. I haven't stopped starring at her. Her dad is worse, he holds her even while she's asleep. They had her in the nursery for a mere 20 minutes so I could get some rest. I woke up 10 minutes later and asked the nurse to bring her back I missed her already.

"Came home to the AMC pots out with a seven colours Sunday meal and dessert and my old room prepared for me and baby. It's all pink and cute. It's a celebration, there's a new membaaaaa", Samkelo Ndlovu shared on Twitter.

Sexual Harassment

During an interview on the SABC 3's Afternoon Express Samkelo Ndlovu revealed that she had been a victim of sexual harrasment at the hands of a director during an audition. "It really only happened to me once and it’s not something that I have shed light on or wanted the spotlight to be on me about. You know this whole casting couch thing where ‘if you want this role, wink, wink’. I must have been 21… back during Generations, Zone 14 times. He is a well-known director right now. I was in danger because we were alone in the room, but my reflexes were better than his,” she said.
