Rapulana Seiphemo (born 4 November 1967) is a South African film and television actor. He popularly known for starring as Tau Mogale on the SABC 1 soap opera Generations: The Legacy and it's forerunner. He also palyed the role of Godlieb Mofokeng on Isidingo and Pheko Mokoena on Muvhango. Rapulana Seiphemo starred as Lucky Kunene in the 2008 film, Jerusalema, as Tumi in the 2009 film, White Wedding and as Potso Mogopudi in the 2011 Paradise Stop.

2016 Car Accident

In February 2016 Rapulana Seiphemo was involved in a car accident on the N14 which resulted in the death of three people; Jeremiah Coertz, Donovan van Zyl and Tebogo Makunyane - an alleged would be hijacker.

Alleged Hijacking

Shortly after the accident while Rapulana Seiphemo remained in hospital, reports emerged that the occupants of his car were would be hijackers. One of the occupants, Nathi Lucky Msiza, was charged but the charges were later withdrawn.

Christelle Tosoni, cousin of Donovan van Zyl(one of the deceased) was quoted saying, "If it was indeed a hijacking, where are the weapons that should have been found in the vehicle wreck? A gun or knife or anything to support the story of a hijacking? Surely you must have wondered the same thing. Nowhere does it state that any weapons were found in Rapulana’s vehicle."

Personal Life

Rapulana Seiphemo married Olga Rubeiro in Swaziland in 2003. In the wake of the reports of extramarital reports in 2014 Rapulana Seiphemo denied getting divorce or even divorce being imminent, "What? You really mean me going through a divorce? That’s not true. Have you seen my wife, do you think I can divorce such a pretty woman?" he was quoted saying.

However he admitted to having a girlfriend and dismissed the question of having a wife and girlfriend threatening to walk out of the interview, "I’d rather not comment any further on this matter", he was quoted saying.

Relationship with Zoe Mthiyane

Rapulana Seiphemo has been romantically linked to famed actress Zoe Mthiyane who previously dated sportscaster Robert Marawa and playwright Lebo M. Zoe Mthiyane also plays Rapulana Seiphemo's onscreen love interest on Generations.
