Nambitha Ben-Mazwi (born 1 December 1988) is a South African actress, MC, businesswoman, radio and television presenter is best known for her starring role as Lulama on e.tv telenovela Broken Vows alongside Thembi Mtshali-Jones, Mandla Gaduka, Thapelo Mokoena, Emmanuel Castis and Jo-Anne Reyneke.

Nambitha has had roles on shows such as Black Mirror, Traffic!, Madiba, Doubt, Diamond City and she currently stars as Shado on e.tv soap opera Scandal! alongside Joyce Skefu, Lusanda Mbane, Jerry Mofokeng, Kgomotso Christopher and Given Stuurman

Early Life

Nambitha Ben-Mazwi was born on December 1, 1988 in Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. She attended Collegiate Girls High School. After matriculating from Collegiate Girls High School, she moved to Cape Town to complete her Honours Degree in Business Science at the University of Cape Town.

Career

Nambitha during her time at University of Cape Town she joined the campus radio station, UCT Radio. She MC’ed for the MTN FIFA World Cup, and became the spokesperson for a Brandi Hair’s campaign. After graduating with her Business Science Honours she worked for a leading global software company and then took on a networking holiday trip to New York City, where she landed a hosting gig at New York City's best Comedy Club called The Stand.

Nambitha whilst living in New York she was cast in a tv series Black Mirror, as Tamara.
