Lucia Mthiyane (born 16 September 1975) is a South African actress, singer, author, former model, businesswoman, and chef. She portrayed the character of Deliwe Ngcobo on the SABC 1 drama series, Mzansi. Lucia Mthiyane achieved further acclaim for her portrayal of Rachel Phakathi on the etv soap opera, Rhythm City.

Television Career

Lucia Mthiyane guest starred on the Mzansi Magic telenovela, iNkaba, and portrayed the character of Selinah Mdluli on the SABC 2 flagship soap opera, Muvhango. She played Duma's mother on the second season of Soul Buddyz, Thembisile on Doubt, and Crystal on Boo & TT. Lucia Mthiyane served as a judge on Top Chef South Africa, as well as appeared on I Love South Africa, Ngempela, and Rolling With... Kelly Khumalo.

Film Career

Lucia Mthiyane portrayed the character of Rethabile in the 1999 short film, Cry Me a Baby and appeared as Olive's mother in 2011 Charlie Vundla film, How to Steal 2 Million.
