Liezel van der Westhuizen (born 12 July 1978) is a South African radio presenter, MC, Vlogger and telelevion personality best known as a continuity announcer for SABC 3. In 2008 she was announced by M-Net as the new host of Idols for the show's 5th season, replacing Colin Moss, who reportedly declined to continue on the show in order to pursue his film career. She beat out former Season 1 host Sami Sabiti, Top Billing presenter Janez Vermeiren and YFM jock and tv presenter Pabi Moloi to win the presenting job.

She began hosting Idols season 5 on Sunday 1 February, 2009. She left the show midway through Season 6 to take a job co-hosting the SABC 3 breakfast show Expresso, in October 2010.
