Khaya Dladla (born 3 April 1990) is a South African actor, television presenter, dancer and singer best known for his role as flamboyant beautician GC on the SABC 1 telenovela Uzalo alongside Nokuthula Mabika, Ntokozo Dlamini, Baby Cele Maloka and Masoja Msiza. It was his first professional television acting role, despite having performed in theatre since the age of nine, and he has also been a backing vocalist for musicians such as Hugh Masekela, Salif Keita and Thandiswa Mazwai.

Early Life

Khaya Dladla was born on 3 April 1990 in the township of Umlazi BB section near the city of Durban in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. He attended Isipingo Hills primary school, where he excelled in performing arts; and as a means to keep him busy, his parents, Reggie Dladla and Thandi Dladla enrolled him to a ballet school. He attended grade 8 at Hunt road Secondary, Glenwood,and matriculated at Brittenwood High school in Durban in 2005, and later studied marketing and media courses at college.
