Zethu Dlomo (born 31 March 1989) is a South African actress best known for her starring role as young, ambitious, driven, straight-shooting police officer Alice Kunene in the SABC 1 science fiction television series Room 9, and as Lwandle on Mzansi Magic drama series The Herd she acted alongside Sello Maake Ka-Ncube, Peter Mashigo, Winnie Ntshaba, Sihle Ndaba and Zenzelisphesihle Xulu.
In 2008 she was cast as Baone Magasane in a British-American drama series The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency she acted alongside Jill Scott, Idris Elba, Lindani Nkosi, Jerry Mofokeng, Brenda Ngxoli, Mduduzi Mabaso, Vusi Kunene and Mary Twala. Zethu has had roles on shows such as The Book of Negroes, Gauteng Maboneng, Black Sails, aYeYe, IsiBaya, and in a biographical film of Nelson Mandela's experience as a guerrilla fighter for the African National Congress, Mandela's Gun as Winnie Mandela alongside Desmond Dube, Tumisho Masha, Jet Novuka, Luthuli Dlamini and Fezile Mpela.
Zethu Dlomo was born on 31 March 1989 in Lenasia, Gauteng province of South Africa, and raised in Mmesi Park, Dobsonville, Soweto. Zethu studied at The National School of the Arts before attending University of the Witwatersrand, where she graduated with a BA Degree in Drama.
