Shoki Mokgapa (born 17 August 1984) was a South African actress best known for playing the role of Pearl Lusipho's (Nambitha Mpumlwana) personal assistant Tumi on SABC 3 drama series The Lab and as Disebo on the soapie Ashes to Ashes. In 2017 she won the SAFTA award for Best Actress in a Feature Film for her role in the feature film Sink, the story of a Mozambican domestic worker who loses her child under the care of her employers.


Shoki Mokgapa ended her own life on Tuesday 25 September 2018 after a long struggle with clinical depression and anxiety at the age of 34.
