Lesego Motsepe (28 April 1974 – 20 January 2014) was a South African actress, singer and activist. She is best known for her portrayal of Letti Matabane on the SABC 3 soap opera, Isidingo, alongside Keketso Semoko who played Agnes Matabane her onscreen mother, Don Mlangeni Nawa who played Zebedee "Zeb" Matabane her onscreen father, Tshepo Maseko who played Parsons Matabane her onscreen brother and Hlubi Mboya who played Nandipha Sithole onscreen sister-in-law.

Living with HIV

Lesego Motsepe revealed on World Aids Day in 2011 that she had been living with HIV) since 1998, nearly 13 years. She was diagnosed with the virus when she was just 23 years old. Lesego Motsepe went to say she had contracted the virus from her ex-boyfriend who had hidden his status from her.


Lesego Motsepe was found dead at her home in Randburg, Johannesburg. The cause of death was reportedly natural causes.
